Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Reveo Labs (“Reveo Labs,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Reveo Radar (the “Service”) at radar.reveolabs.com. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

01Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. When you create an account, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your name, email address, and login credentials. If you sign in with Google, GitHub, or Facebook, we receive your basic profile and verified email from that provider.
  • Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by our payment provider (Whop). Your card details are handled by Whop and its processors; we do not store full payment-card numbers. We receive your subscription status and plan.
  • Content you create. Information you add while using the Service, such as saved labs, application-tracking entries and stages, and outreach drafts you generate.
  • Usage and device data. Log data such as pages viewed, searches run, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, and timestamps, collected to operate and secure the Service.
  • Cookies. We use cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use cookies to sell your data.

02How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and your account;
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure;
  • Process subscriptions, billing, and related communications;
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related notices;
  • Send marketing messages such as product updates, discounts, and offers (you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in those emails);
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

03AI-assisted features

When you use AI features such as outreach draft generation, the relevant inputs (for example, the lab or professor context and any prompt you provide) are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a response. We do not use your inputs or outputs to train our own models, and the Service does not require you to submit sensitive personal information to use these features.

04About the directory data

The labs, professors, universities, and openings shown in Reveo Radar are compiled and organized from publicly available sources (such as university and lab websites and public publication records). We present this information for research and outreach purposes. If you are an individual listed in the directory and would like your information reviewed or removed, contact us using the details below.

05How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service:

  • Service providers. Clerk (authentication), Whop (payments), Vercel (hosting and delivery), and OpenAI (AI features), each acting on our behalf and bound by their own commitments.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Reveo Labs, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

06Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

07Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information from within your account, or exercise these rights by emailing us.

Account and data deletion. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, email support@reveolabs.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” We will verify your request and delete the applicable data, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain it.

08Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, and we rely on established providers for authentication, payments, and hosting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
