Terms of Service

Reveo Radar is a curated directory of research labs, professors, universities, and open positions, with tools to search, save, draft outreach, and track applications. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

You must be at least 13 years old (and old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

By creating an account, you agree that we may contact you by email and in-app messages with:

• Service messages, such as receipts, security notices, support replies, and updates about changes to the Service; and
• Marketing messages, such as product updates, tips, discounts, promotions, referral rewards, and other offers and perks from Reveo Labs.

You can opt out of marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by contacting support@reveolabs.com. Service messages are part of operating the Service and are sent regardless of your marketing preferences. Where the law of your region requires a separate opt-in for marketing, we will honor that requirement instead.

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, Whop. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method for the applicable plan and term until you cancel.

• Prices and plan features are shown at checkout and may change for future terms;
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current term;
• You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period; and
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

When using the Service, you agree that you will not:

• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract the directory, contact details, or any other content by automated means, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls;
• Resell, redistribute, or republish the directory data or any part of the Service, or use it to build or train a competing product or dataset;
• Use contact information obtained through the Service for spam, unlawful, deceptive, or harassing communications;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity or security of the Service; or
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

Your access is for your own personal, non-commercial outreach unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service, such as outreach drafts and application-tracking notes. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

The Service, including its selection, arrangement, and presentation of the directory, its software, design, and branding, is owned by Reveo Labs and protected by intellectual property laws. Underlying factual information is drawn from publicly available sources; our curation and compilation of it are protected. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

The Service relies on third parties including Clerk (authentication), Whop (payments), Vercel (hosting), and OpenAI (AI features). Your use of those features may also be subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

We work to keep the directory accurate and up to date, but information about labs, people, funding, and openings changes frequently and is provided “as is.” You should independently verify details before relying on them. We do not endorse, and are not affiliated with, the institutions or individuals listed unless expressly stated.

The Service is a research and outreach tool. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including replies to your outreach, interviews, admissions, or positions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reveo Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reveo Labs from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal exposure. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Reveo Labs is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes not subject to binding arbitration, to the extent permitted by law.
